Laburnum vossii

Long racemes of magnificent bright yellow flowers hang from the branches of Laburnum  'Vossii' in May and June.

It is commonly called the Golden Chain tree for this magnificent display.

The flowers are highly scented and popular with bees and other wildlife.

Foliage is light-green giving a bright backdrop for the luminous flowers. These circular leaves are particularly attractive when sunlight filters through them. This tree is best suited positioned in full sun, planted in any soil type. In 10 years, Laburnum 'Vossii' will have grown to a height of 4 metres and spread of 3 metres.
