Clematis viticella Polish Spirit

Clematis viticella 'Polish Spirit' is a vigorous late flowering climber. RHS Award of Garden Merit 1993. An outstanding performer. 

Flowers mid Summer to early autumn - Velvety rich purple blue tepals 7cm across with blackish red anthers. Vigorous habit.

Shade loving. Any soil. Suitable for a container. 

Height x spread: 3-4m x 1.8m

Pruning Group 3 - hard pruning back to a pair of strong buds about 20cm above ground in early spring.

Plant sizes

9cm liners - small rooted cuttings, cut back twice and suitable for growing on in your greenhouse ready to be planted out the following spring/summer. 

3L plant - established plant approx 45-60cm tall (depending on time of year and pruning group) in a 3L recycled plastic tall rose pot with a cane support, colour label & plenty of growth.
