Clematis texensis 'Princess Diana' is a hardy deciduous woody climber with upright, dark pink tulip shaped flowers. Awarded the RHS Award of Garden Merit in 2002, a very sort after prolific performer.
Flowers over a long period - July to October - Vigorous habit. Upright dark pink tulip shaped flowers. Silvery, shaggy seedheads follow in Autumn. Small, divided light green foliage.
Height x spread: 2.4m x 1.8m.
Pruning Group 1 - no pruning required. Flowers in spring on previous year’s growth.
Plant sizes
9cm liners - small rooted cuttings, cut back twice and suitable for growing on in your greenhouse ready to be planted out the following spring/summer.
3L plant - established plant approx 45-60cm tall (depending on time of year and pruning group) in a 3L recycled plastic tall rose pot with a cane support, colour label & plenty of growth.
