Clematis Multi Blue - group 2 climber

Clematis Multi Blue is a distinctive blue and white, large, double flowered climber with a tufted centre in late spring.  

Flowering - in abundance in May - June & August -September. Remove first flowers to encourage a second flush.

Aspect - Full sun to part shade - south or west facing walls or trellis are ideal

Soil - Moist but good drainage 

Height x spread: 2-3m x 1-2m (Height can be controlled by pruning)

Pruning Group 2 - occasional or light prune to tidy in Feb/March. Reduce generally by a third in height. Flowers on old stems. 

Hardiness - H5 Cold Winter 10c - 15c 

Plant sizes

9cm liners - small rooted cuttings, cut back twice and suitable for growing on in your greenhouse ready to be planted out the following spring/summer. 

3L plant - established plant approx 45-60cm tall (depending on time of year and pruning group) in a 3L recycled plastic tall rose pot with a cane support, colour label & plenty of growth.
