Clematis Durandii is one of many free flowering climbers that produce an abundance of large flowers.
Flowers mid summer to early autumn - height 1-2 metre. Semi-nodding, flat, open indigo blue flowers 8-10cm across, with cream anthers and white filaments which are blue at the base. Non clinging habit.
Full sun to part shade.
Pruning Group 3 - hard prune in early spring to a pair of buds approx 20cm above ground level.
